MailTags update: 2.2b5

MailTagsAt last I can feel comfortable about upgrading to Mac OS 10.5 Leopard: MailTags has a public beta for Mail.app 3.0. While the beta appears to be stable (hence its being made public), you should keep backups of your mailboxes. To-do and event capabilities have also been temporarily removed, as iCal interoperability has changed dramatically.

For a full description of what’s working and what’s not, see the 2.2b5 forum announcement.

MailTags on sale today only!

MailTagsIf it is still October 18, 2007 and you don’t already own MailTags, then quit reading this stupid blog post and go buy MailTags for 33% off at MacZot now. MailTags is one of the very few pieces of Mac software, tagging or otherwise, that I recommend without reservations to everyone. If you use Mail.app and want to lead anything like a productive life, then you need MailTags.

Purchasing it now not only gives you access to what I’ve called the One True Tagging Tool on the Mac, but also a free upgrade to the Leopard-ready version when it’s released. Don’t miss this one.

MailTags update: 2.1

MailTagsMailTags, the essential tagging plugin for Apple’s Mail.app, has been updated to version 2.1. This update includes the ability to tag an incoming message and have all other messages in that thread automatically tagged, a French localization, fixes to several IMAP tagging issues, interface fixes, and more. Additionally, if you’ve tried MailTags 2.0 but never registered, 2.1 extends the trial period for another 21 days.

For more details, please see the release notes. MailTags is definitely not a program to miss.

Cha-Ching update: 1.1

Cha-ChingCha-Ching, everyone’s favorite tag-centric financial management software, has been updated to version 1.1. This update includes the addition of an “untagged” section (for finding those pesky untagged entries), better QIF and OFX importing, enhanced auto-completion, and some new and updated interface elements. Definitely a worth-while download if you’re a fan of Cha-Ching.

For more details, please see the Cha-Ching 1.1 blog post.
